Volunteer Commitment

OPG is primarily an all-volunteer nonprofit organization, and The Nutcracker is our biggest fundraiser.  Volunteers are critical to producing a show of this caliber.  Primary roles for volunteers include promotions, set building, stage set up, costuming, fundraising, and advertising. For more detailed information about volunteering at OPG, please refer to the Cast Handbook.

Every family must commit 8 hours of volunteer time between July and mid December before the Nutcracker show weekend.

In addition to the 8 hours required before the show starts, each family must commit to working at least one shift during the performance weekend.

Log Your Volunteer Hours

OPG tracks volunteer hours through Track It Forward. Please click on the link below to record your hours.

If this is your first time accessing Track it Forward, you will be prompted to register and create an account, which will automatically link to OPG. Please create only one account PER FAMILY, using the cast member last name and one parent email address, even if more than one family member is in the show.  You will be able to indicate who completes the volunteer hours when you enter your log.

If you have any questions, please contact us at danceopg@gmail.com.
